AA settles military pilot leave suit

In news just in from this morning, Reuters writes: American Airlines has agreed to settle a class-action suit brought by pilots who said they were unfairly denied benefits while on leave for military service, the U.S. Justice Department said Thursday." The Associated Press adds: "If accepted by U.S. District Court in Dallas, the settlement will force the nation's largest commercial airline to pay the pilots a total of $345,772 — averaging just under $1,000 for each.
