Obama McCain 46.3% probability of winning 52.2% probability of winning Mean of 268 electoral votes Mean of 270 electoral votes A couple of days ago Sen. Barack Obama had a 22.9% probability of defeating Sen. John McCain in a general election. That analysis included an error that I discuss along with today’s two new polls. (FWIW: I don’t believe the error affected things much.)
